Each design drawn is different to the others and is intended to represent the vast diversity of, and connection between, souls and spirits in this world and in others. The spirals, dots, lines and swirls tell the story of our history, our values and our family.
These earrings feature long rectangles of recycled metal, each with a beautiful hand-drawn and etched kowhaiwhai pattern. They are available in three different metals; Recycled Copper, Brass and Sterling Silver. They are finished with hand-made silver earhooks or silver post/scroll finish.

As Seen at NYFW
This piece is part of the New York Collection and was showcased at FlyingSolo, New York Fashion Week 2020
This collection celebrates the bravery of our collective ancestors who honoured the deep pull of adventure and exploration beyond their known world. No matter where in the world your blood-line journeys back to, our ancestors all chose to seek new shores and lands beyond their view, past the horizons they could see.
In this world of 2020, we experience a world that has contracted and closed down. It is a world that is dominated by fear of the unknown, anxiety about a future that we cannot see nor control. The New York collection takes that fear and turns it into intrepid curiosity.
Borrowing from those who come before us, this collection reminds us that the world is still beautiful, that it is full of opportunity to grow and learn and add value. Each piece offers us strength in adversity, freedom in confinement, courage to trust that the wind beneath our wings will not fail us.
Let us seek adventure, be intrepid and curious. Let us be resilient and brave; let us have hope!
"Hope” is the thing with feathers, that perches in the soul. And sings the tune without the wordsand never stops at all.
And sweetest, in the Gale, is heard. And sore must be the storm. That could abash the little Bird, that kept so many warm.
I’ve heard it in the chillest land, and on the strangest Sea.Yet, never, in Extremityit asked a crumb of me.
About this collection: THE SAGE
I am the seeker of wisdom and truth, from the universal spirits, angels and ancestors. My understanding the world and my place in it is a reflection of the knowledge that I learn from experience.
I understand that much of this knowledge originates from within my spirit. I am the eternal student, eager and willing to be forever open to all that brings growth and expansion. And in that growth I share the wisdom I discover on the way with others. I often find myself in my head, caught up in my thinking mind - and I use the beauty and wonder of the world around me to reconnect with my truth.
