Have you ever felt like you have been through hell, literally! We almost always come through the fire to get to where we are, who we are and what we are. And we have the singed eyebrows, blacked feet and ash in our hair to prove it. But you know what? Fire makes us stronger, makes us stand out from the crowd, make us realise that we can endure even the fires of hell.
These earrings represents that journey through hell and back again.
They are made from either solid recycled copper or a pressure bonded copper with sterling silver on the reverse that represents our own personal journey through the flames. The triangle shape is that of the Toki – a powerful symbol of courage and strength to the Maori People of New Zealand; and axe traditionally used to fight, to show status and to present power. The earrings are wrapped in fine copper wire and finished with a delicate koru- a spiral that means new beginnings, hope and truth in Maori culture.
Each earring is finished with genuine sterling silver earhooks or post/scroll and come in 3 different sizes:
- Small: measuring 1cm x 2.5cm
- Medium: measuring 1.5cm x 3.5cm
- Large:measuring 2cm x 5cm
