Delicate Single Feather Earrings
In New Zealand Maori mythology birds are very special and are the messengers of the Gods? Eagles, Harriers and native owls pass between the worlds of man and the Gods along spiritual paths. As a result, Maori consider birds sacred.
As a tribute to our birds and our own inherent spirituality I have created these delicate and simple, stylish silver feather earrings. Each feather is hammered from recycled copper, brass, fine silver or 9k gold wire into a lightweight long earring. You can select from short (3cm) or long (5cm) feather.
For you, these earrings are a reminder that you can access the sacred and the spiritual, and you can also tap into the wisdom of your ancestors.
All of the metal used in these earring is eco-ethical. Copper, brass and fine silver are all recycled material while the gold is a mixture of Alluvial gold sourced from New Zealand supplemented by recycled gold wherever possible. The ear wires are handmade and also from 100% recycled silver (or eco-ethical gold for the gold earrings).
