Haere mai to the beautiful copper toki earrings.
Inspired by one of the oldest and most recognised symbols in Māori design, the toki carries strength, courage, and the quiet leadership of doing the hard thing anyway. Each earring features a single mangōpare design, a traditional kōwhaiwhai pattern representing the hammerhead shark, known for its determination and strength when changing direction. Together, they are a small but steady reminder that real strength is not standing still, it is having the courage to move.
3D printed in copper-filled PLA, the copper toki earrings have a warm metallic weight in the hand, with the mangōpare design pierced right through so light shows through the pattern itself.
Each piece is hand-finished with stainless steel earhooks and made to order in small batches in Christchurch, Aotearoa.
Worn over time, the copper develops a natural patina, its own kind of tenacity, changing rather than fading. The longer you carry it, the more it becomes yours: proof that resilience isn’t something you just have once, it’s the courage you keep choosing, time after time.
