Celebrate our beautiful native birds, considered by Maori to be the messengers of the Gods themselves, that filled every environmental niche in New Zealand before the arrival of humans.

These beautiful beaded feather earrings represent the Kōtare, our Sacred Kingfisher. Known for it’s ability to remain still, it’s swiftness and it’s pin-point accuracy, this bird is considered to be a watchful guardian.

These earrings are individually handcrafted from 2mm glass beads and brass or stainless steel hoops. They measure approximately 7cm long and are finished with stainless steel earhooks.
