Celebrate our beautiful native birds, considered by Maori to be the messengers of the Gods themselves, that filled every environmental niche in New Zealand before the arrival of humans.

These beautiful beaded feather earrings represent the Kererū, our wonderful Wood Pigeon. Kererū are true characters of our forests, feasting on fruits throughout the summer, and gracing us with their distinctive “swoop” as they dive above our heads in the forest canopy. Considered to be a symbol of abundance and a wealth of good things in life, it is always a joy to have the Kererū in your world.

These earrings are individually handcrafted from 2mm glass beads and brass or stainless steel hoops. They measure approximately 7cm long and are finished with stainless steel earhooks.
